I paid 60 euros for a night and the service was awful. The facilities were terrible, and when I got thirsty at night there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room. I tried calling reception, but the room phone didn’t work either. For that price, this low quality service is unacceptable. Please don’t pay to stay here. Do NOT stay at this hotel.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive, and their restaurant and sightseeing recommendations were all great choices. We had breakfast too, with lots of options both sweet and savory. The hotel has a special vintage look, and our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and bright. We brought our kitten, and they gave us a clean room set aside for pets. It had windows, a great shower, a big closet and a TV, but no fridge or kettle. They left us a bottle of water and shower gel. The hotel is within walking distance of the center and cathedral. We’ll definitely come back if we visit Colonia again!

We found it easy to reach by car and will definitely return. The family-run business had friendly, helpful staff, and breakfast was pleasant and good value. Our room was a good size, with a nice bathroom and facilities. We slept really well, even though a big city is much noisier than my little home village. It’s good value and about a 10-15 minute walk from the shopping area. Safe off-street parking is a two-minute walk away, and it’s cheap.

The room was basic but very clean and comfortable, and the location was good value for a one-night stay. Communication was the one difficulty: reception seemed to speak only German, not English.

The reception and hotel have a lovely old-fashioned style, which I really liked. My room was spacious enough, bright, clean, and comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary water. Parking is a great option too. The staff were so welcoming and nice, I enjoyed every conversation. Recommended! 🤗
