The Rhin Hotel

We stayed for one night and both became violently ill during it, with vomiting and severe diarrhea after drinking the tap water in the room. When we told reception, the staff showed no concern, didn’t want to hear our explanation, and even seemed to laugh. That response felt deeply disrespectful and unprofessional while we were so sick. We felt dismissed and not taken seriously, which made an already awful stay worse. I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

We got a lot for the price. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including bacon, eggs, different breads and rolls, pastries, fruit, and much more. The room was excellent and the bed comfortable. The hotel itself was great, with a distinctive style, and the shower had amazing water pressure.

The shower was unusable: the water wouldn't drain, and it all leaked onto the floor. The rooms were dirty too, with hair on the sheet. This hotel was terrible. 👎👎👎👎

We checked in around 8:30 pm on 17 September as part of a tour group. The hotel is near Munich, on the outskirts of Dachau. At the bar, a nice gentleman served us, but the young woman at reception was rude and had a bad attitude. Our tour leader asked where breakfast was, and she unhappily gave the hours, 6:30 to 10:00, then pointed us in the direction with an unwilling look. Breakfast was basic, with limited choices, and I'm unsure about housekeeping since we found an empty drink bottle on the floor beside the bed. The two lifts were very small and didn't seem suitable for a tour group.
