For a central hotel, it’s very affordable and close to everything, so it works well for a one night stay. The rooms are good, and I liked the disposable bathroom kit with a toothbrush and toothpaste. The main entrance door is a bit tricky to unlock because there’s so little room between the handle and the wall.

I booked one night because I had an important exam in Dortmund, but I barely got any rest. The room was noisy, and there was a strong smoke smell coming from the bed that left me with a sore throat. The bathroom heating didn’t work either. It was the worst day I’ve had in Germany, and the hotel offered no comfort at all. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Water from the broken shower pipe leaked all over the bathroom. The pillow was extremely uncomfortable, and the pillowcases and blanket smelled unpleasant too.

I couldn’t get any rest in that tiny room, about the size of a closet in my apartment. Everything was in poor condition, and the reception staff weren’t very friendly either.
