We only stayed one evening while in Dortmund for a wedding, but I’d come back to Postkutsche. The host greeted us warmly, spoke English, and explained what we needed to know. WiFi is closed, and you get the password at check-in. The room was very clean overall, with just a bit of dust on the light switches by the headboard. It was standard, with a very comfortable bed and a bathroom that had plenty of mirrors and everything we needed. Breakfast ran from 8:00 to 10:00. Another friendly, keen employee welcomed us, asked about coffee, and brought a pot over. The buffet had assorted breads, two kinds of eggs, bacon, sliced meats and cheese, jams including Nutella, yogurt, salad with mozzarella and baked tomato, and small waffles. The bacon had run out when we arrived, but they refilled it without us having to ask.

Good value for what you get, and the staff are welcoming. It’s a nice choice for a short stay, though the rooms are a little small and the restroom is shared outside the room.

The rooms are tidy, the staff are friendly, and the prices are affordable. Breakfast was very good too.

The rooms could use an update, but they were clean, and the people were friendly. I’d visit again.

The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and parking is right outside. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want. Highly recommended!
