CENTRAL Hotel Düsseldorf

The first impression at check-in was poor, with a very disorganized reception desk. The hotel’s decor is old and awful, and the quality felt cheap throughout. On a cold afternoon at 5-degree Celsius, I found the room window open, so the room was freezing. There was only one heater, and it wasn’t enough, so I had to use an extra blanket. The bathroom was very cold too, with no heater by its window. Both the room and bathroom had single-glazed windows. The WiFi was consistently poor. I couldn’t use Skype for video or voice calls and could barely load web pages. Poor quality for the price.

The location is perfect, close to nightlife, königsgalle and haubtbahnhof, and the place felt quiet and secure. Reception were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms had nice decor. Breakfast was better than average. I’d suggest the hotel to anyone who isn’t specifically looking for luxury.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location. The shower was unpredictable, switching from warm to scalding at random. Breakfast was okay, but I’ve had better for less at other places.

I was there on a business trip, and the staff spoke English. The reception was nice, the room was a reasonable size, and there was free wifi that let me watch YouTube. The diner only had space for about 20 people. There was an elevator for disabled access, and I think reception was open close to 24/7. They called a taxi for us when we asked. Nice central location.
