Our room was clean and everything worked, so I have no complaints there. The staff were super friendly, and the sushi restaurant’s food was really good. I’d especially recommend the Wontan soup. We were only there for one night, and I’m still surprised that such kind people exist. I’d injured my foot and found the stairs painful, so my husband and a hotel worker carried me up on a regular chair to the elevator. Thanks so much again! Parking near the hotel is the only downside. We were lucky that the owner let us use his private parking spot, since there’s normally no space. I guess parking in the middle of a big city is hard to expect these days.

There are strasssenbahns right in front of the hotel, so you can get to the city center quickly. The room was super clean and had everything I needed for a short visit. The couple at the front desk were lovely, always smiling and ready to help. Breakfast was simple but delicious. I’m a little sad I didn’t have time to try their sushi for dinner, maybe next time. I really enjoyed my stay and felt safe.

The rooms were great and the staff lovely. It’s super close to the city center, with great value for the price.

The reception wouldn’t do anything to sort things out, and apparently only one person works at the hotel. My room was dirty, the bed looked used and hadn’t been cleaned, there was no heat, and the TV didn’t work. Even the lights were kept dim, as if that would hide the dirt. Check24 refused to refund the cost. This was the worst hotel in Düsseldorf.

The owner, Mr Chen, charged me €30 when my friend came to visit, saying I had brought an extra guest. He refused to give the money back, so I contacted Amex and they’re handling a chargeback. What kind of business ethics is that? I hope the rating keeps dropping.
