Room 01 was right by the elevator and entrance, but I barely heard any noise during the night. The room size was fine for the price, the bed was soft and comfortable, the shower got nice and hot, and the room had been cleaned very well. WLAN speed was good for work and YouTube. The do not disturb sign was always respected when it was on the door. Check-in was easy after booking through Booking and receiving the entry code. You pay the city fees by card at the entrance and get your room key. There wasn’t anyone at reception, or maybe I just came at a bad time, but that didn’t bother me. They give you a number to call if there’s a problem. A mini fridge would be nice for keeping a drink cold, but I’m not taking off a star for something that isn’t essential. I also wish there were a way to turn off the TV LED when the TV is off, since it might bother some people trying to sleep. If I missed that option, let me know and I’ll take back that point. I know I read the comments here afterwards, and my experience was the total opposite. For a budget stay, and if you don’t mind walking a bit since you’re still pretty close to everything, I can definitely recommend booking here. Thanks for the service and hosting. I hope more people have the same experience and leave good reviews.

It was really hard to find parking at night. I’m very upset and disappointed. We booked a queen room for two adults as a couple yesterday, but what we got didn’t look like a queen room. There was just one small pillow and one towel, only enough for one person. Why give us one pillow and towel when we booked for two? We had a rough night, and now I have neck pain.

My train to Düsseldorf was cancelled during a two-night work stay, so I messaged the property through Booking.com to say I’d arrive the next day and check in then. I heard nothing back. Once I got to Düsseldorf, they cancelled the reservation and left me stranded. When I called, the person I spoke with was extremely rude and shouted that I hadn’t contacted them. Afterward I saw I’d been blocked from messaging the property, so it seems he hadn’t checked my message in time. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Please avoid this place.

The bathroom fan and shower were startlingly loud, and the room kept smelling like human feces no matter how much I aired it out. I’ve stayed in plenty of cheap hotels around the world, and this one just isn’t worth it. It also felt like I needed to disinfect my hands after touching anything.
