The owners were so friendly and ready to help whenever an issue came up. The apartment itself was tidy and very clean, and it really felt like home. It’s in a peaceful neighborhood, with both the water and town not far away, which made it great for relaxing. I can wholeheartedly recommend booking here if you’re planning a stay in Eckernförde.

We spent ten days there in July this year, and my wife and I felt at ease throughout our stay at "Smukke Marie." The landlady greeted us warmly and saw us off in person too. They’re lovely hosts. The apartment sits on a quiet street and is tastefully furnished, with care shown in all the little details. Outside, there’s a large terrace for relaxing, a small sheltered spot for rainy weather, and another seating area beside the house. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend "Smukke Marie" for a holiday in Eckernförde.

A lovely place for two, with plenty of space, very clean, and furnished with care down to the little details. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. The only thing is that small children nearby lovingly woke us around 6 to 6:30 in the morning.

The harbor is an easy walk away, and if we come back to Eckernförde, this apartment will be our first choice. We had four lovely days and three nights at Smukke Marie. It’s a fantastic place, tastefully decorated with lots of attention to detail. Mrs. Schmelz welcomed us very warmly in person and said goodbye to us just as warmly. Thanks again!

Wind, waves, and the beach are there to greet you as you wake up, just as you’d hope for in a seaside holiday. The harbor and historic old town are also easy to reach on foot, and the walk stays interesting. The apartment is furnished down to the smallest detail, and the friendly landlady’s personal welcome gets your vacation off to a lovely start.
