VERY POLITE, AND THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD!!!!

Lovely and quiet setting, with hiking trails going into the heart of the Lüneburg Heath. The landlady was very friendly, and dogs can stay free. I was even able to share my room with five dogs, and could have brought them into the breakfast room too. I would’ve tried the dog run if the weather had been better. The guesthouse is a little dated, and the rooms are basic, but everything was very clean. Breakfast was tasty, though the buffet was nothing special and the bread selection was small. Guests can cook in a well-equipped shared kitchen, and the refrigerator is shared as well. There’s also a washing machine that takes 50-cent coins. Good value for money and a good choice for a short break.

It was easy to strike up conversations at breakfast, and it was lovely being around so many other people with dogs. The guesthouse is very dog-friendly, the owners are lovely, and the breakfast is well worth recommending. The location is fantastic for hikes, and the little town is charming. My room was fine for a short break, although I found it a bit small, and the single bed too, but maybe I’m just spoiled. I’d definitely recommend the place.

There’s a fridge with drinks for a fee and some snacks available in the evenings. The guesthouse is family-run and very welcoming to dogs. The owners regularly checked in and were always up for a chat. Rooms are clean and have what you need for a relaxing holiday, even if they aren’t high-end, which makes sense for this category. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want. They also prioritize sustainability when cleaning the rooms and towels. Wi-Fi worked perfectly.
