Appartementhaus Trapper

The rooms are in a basement with hardly any light, and everything felt damp, dusty, dirty, and like it smelled of old furniture. I found another BnB and left as soon as I could. I had moved to Germany for work and was put up here. The house was handed over unclean, but the owner expected us to leave it cleaner than we found it. Since many international guests, particularly Indians, stay here, I felt he thought he could take advantage of them. When I left early, he raised his voice and became abusive. I don't know whether he'd have treated a local the same way. I left because the place was so unclean, lol. The part that worried me most was him trying to open my door at night. One night at 11pm, he also called on the intercom to ask if I wanted wine, which confirmed my suspicion that he was creepy. I wish I could give it fewer stars. Do not book this place or recommend it unless you're up for some trauma, lol. For some reason, Google keeps flagging my review and not posting it. Guys, beware and stay away!

It's an ordinary rental house with limited resources and supplies. Could work for a summer holiday or a longer stay, but the location is tricky.

What would you put up with to see your newborn grandchild? I cleaned the dust myself for now, but there's dust everywhere and cobwebs that look like they haven't been touched in ages. The cleaning staff seems to need new glasses. Anyone who doesn't already have a dust mite allergy could pick one up here for a hefty price. For a night here, bring an orthopedist. The beds use stylish old wardrobe doors instead of slatted frames, and the mattresses have definitely seen better days. There's no shower screen, so a shower floods the whole bathroom. Put your towels away first. There's mold on the window seals and bathroom door too.

It was a really nice, quiet place to stay.
