At 50 euros a night, this camping park is expensive. It's a large site with a mix of tourers and statics, and it's close to town. There's also a pizza restaurant on site, though service there was very slow. The place seemed crowded and felt better suited to longer stays than an overnight stop. I'd probably stay elsewhere for just one night.

The place is clean and the people are nice, but 42€ for two cyclists in a small tent is way overpriced.

I spent 15 nights camping here. It was the best of the five campsites I'd stayed at, largely because reception staff were pleasant and really helpful. The showers, toilets, and kitchen were all top notch, and the grounds were very clean and well kept. Very good value for money. I'd strongly recommend staying here.

A nice campsite in the heart of the Ruhrgebiet, and an excellent base for visiting the industrial monuments of the former Ruhr industry.

The campsite is quiet and close to the city centre. The facilities looked good and were well maintained, and the staff went out of their way to help us feel welcome. I was there on one of the busiest weekends of the year, but it didn't feel overfull. There was only a small queue for the toilets in the morning, so I have no real complaints. Not quite a five-star place, but certainly worth recommending for a few nights in the area.
