It’s a family-style hotel right in central Essen, close to Colosseum Theater, shopping, and more. The only thing missing is parking. If it had that, it would be perfect.

The WLAN connection was really bad, and smoking is allowed in the rooms, so they smell unpleasant.

In my opinion, only the bathroom was halfway decent. The decor feels very 70s, and you have to hand in your key whenever you leave. The hotel is more like a youth hostel.
