The room we were given looked nothing like the photos on the platform that we relied on when booking. The hotel operates 3-4 separate complexes under the same name, so it seems the online photos were taken in rooms other than ours. We paid €175 for one night and got a bed with a deep, sagging dip in the mattress, an unlit corridor to the room, and an experience that felt decades out of date. That's completely unacceptable, and this standard of accommodation is inexcusable. The owners' hospitality, smiles, and complimentary treats don't make up for misleading guests. I'm genuinely astonished by the positive reviews from other guests.

The spacious, self-sufficient rooms had a sit-out where we could enjoy a beautiful view of the stream and mountains. The owner was warm, and the welcome at reception made us feel at home. The holiday home is nicely placed in the small town of Farchant, about 4-5km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We were so impressed that we've already booked our next holiday there. Wish there were more stars to give!

A very welcoming hotel, and the cakes and ice cream on arrival were delicious. The teas and coffees in the lounge were just what we needed. Parking was easy, right by the hotel, which was easy to find. Our family room had plenty of space, a lovely large bathroom, comfortable beds, and was quiet at night. Local restaurants are an easy walk away. Breakfast was amazing, with everything very fresh. A lovely find, and we'd definitely return.

We had a comfortable stay in a cute apartment with quiet surroundings and comfortable beds, just right for a vacation. The hotel was pleasant and the staff very friendly. On arrival, we got a huge welcome cake, and the receptionist was very good. There was private parking for our motorbikes. We'll definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The hosts were lovely, and we were welcomed with a delicious vanilla roll. Our room was cute, neat, and clean, and there was plenty of free parking. The location was nice too. We really enjoyed our stay.
