The room was lovely and quiet, the staff were wonderful, and this was the best hotel breakfast I had during my time in Europe. They even had American-style drip coffee, which I rarely saw. Edit: I hesitated to gush about the staff in case it embarrassed them, but I should say this. Andrea came to the rescue when the 807 bus never arrived, leaving me stranded at the bus station with nowhere to go. Three other young women at the stop were stuck too, unable to reach their destination and with nowhere to stay that night. We were ready to spend the night in the train station, but Andrea saved the day. I still think about it, and wish Andrea and this beautiful Inn all the best 💕💕

Sunday's dinner was amazing, and the beer was just right. I can't remember how to spell the dish, but it was a bacon-wrapped pork roll filled with cheese and wild garlic leaves. I'd been looking forward to trying the leaves because wild garlic smells so good, and they didn't disappoint. I'd go out of my way to eat here again.

We spent one night here while doing the Romantic Route (Romantische Straße), and I can see us coming back. The staff were great, especially Andrea, who was such a nice person. The restaurant food was excellent and the portions were generous. Our room and bathroom were extremely clean, spacious, and new. What a lovely place! We will definitely return :)

It's a little off the beaten track, which only adds to the charm. The food was exceptional, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that nothing seemed too much trouble. I travel extensively around Europe, especially Germany, and this place is high on my list to visit again. I love it.
