The breakfast was genuinely delicious, and service was very good. They even have gummy bears for guests. My room had the usual bits like a bench, TV and water, plus a Nespresso machine with two modules and some condiments. I found the pillows a little too soft, and maybe the bed too, though that's just my preference. The downtown Christmas market is about an hour away on foot, or you can take public transit.

Trams and buses stop right in front, so getting around was easy. The hotel sits far enough from the centre to stay quiet, but close enough for access. I had been worried after reading some unkind reviews, but I'm staying here for the week and the service has been great. The breakfast spread is more than decent too. It's been a great stay.

The quiet area was a real plus, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. My room was simple but comfortable. There was no iron, and the TV only had German channels. The bigger issue was that nobody looked after my room or made the bed during my three-night stay. That's the only thing that would make me consider another place next time I'm in Frankfurt.

At the lobby bar, we waited 40 minutes just to order, then learned the food we wanted wasn't available. The staff came across as indifferent and almost rude. If we'd been told about the menu shortages sooner, we wouldn't have wasted that time. Really unprofessional service.
