The owner was friendly and very nice, even though he doesn't really speak English. My room was very clean but rather old, and a few things didn't work. I also didn't feel the heating was enough, though that may be subjective.

For that price during the fair, this was the best place I found in Frankfurt. Nice people and clean rooms.

The location is great, and the hotel is small and nice with friendly staff. But the cleanliness was really bad. There were stains on the table, wardrobe, wall, and toilet; lots of dust on lamps and in sockets that looked untouched for months; and dead flies on the ceiling. I'm uploading pictures of it all. Also, why are there three sockets for a smoke detector if no detector is installed? And I could smell weed and cigarettes in a non-smoking hotel. If they'd improve the cleaning, this would be a 5/5, but right now I can't give it more than 3/5.

I stayed here in mid-October, 2024, and had a very nice visit with no problems. This is a modest family-run place in a four-storey building with about 25 rooms, not a luxury, hipster, or branded chain hotel like Motel One or Merkur. The rooms feel a bit like student dorms or mini-apartments, but they're cosy and have some decorations. There was dust in the corners and the lamps weren't brand new, but the large bed and simple bathroom were perfectly clean, and everything worked. The older man at reception was genuinely warm and friendly. He showed me where free tea and small snacks were near the reception. There's a REWE Supermarket about three minutes away on foot, open until 22h (10pm), plus simple restaurants nearby. It's a residential area, so I slept quietly, with no loud trains or bars nearby. Tram 11 or 21 gets you to Hauptbahnhof in about 12 minutes, very easily. At about €94, this was by far the safest and least expensive option I could find on Booking.com. I'd definitely stay again. Danke!

The price was very good, and free parking on the street outside was a bonus. It's easy to find from the autobahn and still close enough to the city centre. Reception stayed open quite late, and the staff spoke good English. My single room was small, as expected, but comfortable, and the shower was excellent.
