Frankenhof

The bed was terribly uncomfortable for us, and we woke up each morning with back pain and aches. Also, the reception wasn't staffed all the time, and it wasn't clear how to reach anyone with a question. I missed getting recommendations from locals, so we mostly had to look up where to go, what to see, and where to eat ourselves. The TV remote in room 11 didn't work, though we didn't mind much. We were there for three nights between Christmas and New Year's Eve, with our child. The room was spacious, with a living room, kitchenette, separate bedroom, and bathroom. Everything was squeaky clean and well arranged, and the price felt fair for what we got. Breakfast was just right, with something to eat even for us as vegetarians. The interior is lovely, with tasteful furnishings from the moment you walk in. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they answered questions we sent before the trip, like whether we should bring our own sled, really quickly.

The rooms are simple and a bit old, but clean, and there's a small breakfast included, so you get what you pay for. It's also right in the centre of Frankfurt. What made me give it five stars was mostly the woman who owns the place. They were always there to help and gave excellent service. I forgot my keys, and they sent them to me by express delivery at no extra cost, and were so sweet about it. I'll definitely recommend staying here!

So charming and cozy here. I especially loved the retro 70s and 80s interior!
