Goethe Business Hotel by Trip Inn

The tram stop for lines 11 and 21 is within walking distance, and there’s an Aldi nearby. Rooms are fine, though some are underground with very small windows. The air conditioner helps with the air in those rooms, and the bathrooms have enough space. I believe German authorities have rules about shampoo, so it’s good that the same supplies are available everywhere. There’s no fridge, but that didn’t matter much to me. Also, Ferrari is very close to the hotel. If you’re a good guy, you might get the chance to visit, sit in one of their cars, and take a picture.

The rooms were quite good, and getting to the tram station was easy. I did expect a fridge in the room, but there wasn’t one. Still, it was a decent stay.

I paid about 130 a night, without breakfast, and found the stay disappointing. The room smelled of old cigarettes mixed with cleaning products, while the staircase and corridors had the odor of old frying fat and curry from the restaurant downstairs. I could hear the neighbor’s TV and snoring, and the water pressure was poor. The place is old and run down and needs repairs beyond cosmetic work.

There are so many cockroaches. We’ve been killing them ever since we arrived, and now, while I’m writing this, one is walking across the TV.
