Hampton by Hilton Frankfurt City Centre Messe

Whenever I’m in Frankfurt, this is my first choice. I’ve stayed here several times and love the location, the reasonable prices, and the great service, especially Dorian. The free breakfast is fantastic too.

The booking process was a nightmare, and I ended up double booked. I couldn’t get help for the whole evening because the front desk apparently had no time to respond. Fortunately, the gentleman who handles booking problems was extremely helpful and got it sorted out. My wife and mother in law arrived a little early and waited about 20 minutes to check in, which was fine. After that, though, they got conflicting parking information and weren’t given the exit ticket, even though they’d paid. They searched for it after being told it had been handed over, then realized the front desk had never given it to them. They also had to ask for my honors gift, despite my honors gold status. They shouldn’t have had to prompt staff about basic things like that. The hotel bar’s drink selection wasn’t great, and the drinks were very overpriced. This felt like an example of things that used to be good gradually becoming mediocre. After this stay I’m considering making Marriott my main hotel chain, since hilton hasn’t met the standard it once did. It’s a shame to see such a decline.

The rooms were well maintained, and everyone was friendly when we returned. We arrived before 3pm/15:00 during our July 2025 visit, and the staff kindly held our luggage until check-in. Dorian helped me more than once at night: water had spilled on the bed, so we needed fresh sheets, and I needed a microwave to heat some food. The staff did everything they could to make the stay great. I’d come back without hesitation.

We enjoyed our one-night stay on a recent trip to Germany. The hotel is about 18 minutes from Frankfurt Main Station, walking plus tram or metro. Staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a good range of food. Prices were great too.
