Garner Hotel Frankfurt - Main Station

The room was comfortable, and room service was great. Everyone was professional, polite, and friendly, always greeting us with a bright smile. Breakfast came on time and had plenty of tasty options. The receptionist was great too. I’d happily recommend this hotel and hope to stay again when I’m back in Frankfurt.

The room was dusty, and the surroundings were very noisy. At the front desk, a rude man wouldn’t let my elderly mother’s luggage be brought to her room, so she had to carry it herself up the stairs to the third floor.

My friends and I booked seven rooms for the weekend. One friend got into an argument with the older man at the front desk and cancelled before checking in because of how rudely he treated us. The area felt like the most dangerous, ghetto part of Frankfurt. We were told the rooms had AC, but were given small fans instead. One room had windows that wouldn’t open at all. We were there in mid-July, and it was extremely hot; the rooms without AC meant we had to leave the windows open, but the noise outside kept us from sleeping. You can find cheaper hotels with better service and a better location.

At least it’s right by the train station, about 30 seconds away, and breakfast was included. The room was unbearably hot, with the tram making noise constantly. It wasn’t cleaned during the three days I was there, the floor mats had filthy marks, and the showers were a mess. This didn’t feel like the three-star continental hotel I’ve stayed at in other European cities.
