Limehome Frankfurt Gutleutstraße

The location is great, less than a 10-minute walk from the station, and the room was nice and clean. And the complaint about the curtains is off base: they use outside blinds to cover the window. The elevator, though, was out for four of the five days I stayed. I only needed it to get my luggage upstairs, but they assigned me to the 5th floor, which is technically the 6th. With four large suitcases, I didn’t know what to do, so I called customer service the night before checkout. A man said the elevator company wasn’t responding and that he’d ask the cleaning team to help. On checkout day I called again to confirm. A kind woman said there was no request for the cleaning team to carry the luggage, but she’d ask the service staff instead. A tall, strong man later came to my door and helped. As I went down the stairs, I saw two cleaning ladies who were smaller than me, and I felt really sorry for the staff. Keeping staffing low, offering contactless check-in, and running whole apartments as a hotel seems like a way for whoever runs this company to squeeze profits between hotels and rentals.

It’s in the centre of Frankfurt, with shops nearby and halal food easy to find. The building feels safe and secure. My first stay at Limehouse was fantastic. It’s like a studio apartment, with everyday appliances such as a washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Clean and tidy too. I’d recommend it to others!

The location is very good, but the room had scratches all over the walls. It was listed as having a washing machine and iron, but neither was there. The hairdryers had never been cleaned, and I wouldn’t want to touch one.

Online check-in and checkout were convenient, and the location was great. The stay was nice overall, though we found hair on the bathroom floor and in a towel. The rooms could do with some renovation and a more thorough clean. I hope they address it, since we’d like to stay again.
