Novotel Frankfurt City

The hotel is a little outside central Frankfurt, but being near a train station made getting into town easy. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by too, which was handy for meals and everyday needs. We picked Novotel Frankfurt City at both ends of our trip for the convenience, especially for flights to and from Europe. Booking early made it quite affordable, and through Accor ALL there can be a family deal with the second room half price. It's a straightforward business hotel, basic and functional, with only limited recognition for elite status and nothing fancy. We liked being able to choose three items a day from the confectionery and beverage cabinet in each room. It gave us snacks and drinks to enjoy while relaxing in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was decent and service generally okay, though it could get a bit chaotic at certain times. I'd maybe stay again, mostly because it's convenient and reasonably priced.

We had a really nice family stay, and the staff were lovely with our kids. The bedrooms were very large, with good big beds, and comfortable even though the hotel may be a bit dated. Breakfast was great too, with fresh food and lots of choice. One thing needs fixing: there was nowhere to put baby diapers, so we had to call every time we had one. The room should have at least one lidded bin big enough for one or two diapers.

After a ten-hour drive from Italy, they offered us free underground parking, which was all I needed. We only stayed one night and had no problems. The room was clean and modern, breakfast was a full continental one, and the local rail connection to the city centre was nearby.

We stayed six nights with our two kids, and the hotel suited us well. It was clean and quiet, and the relaxed atmosphere worked nicely for the family. Breakfast had plenty of variety each morning, though the area got busy at peak times. Frankfurt West station and tram stops are a short walk away, so getting to the Messe, conference venues, and sightseeing spots was easy. The location is handy for transport hubs, but the rooms still felt peaceful. A comfortable, reliable base for business or leisure, and I'd happily come back.
