The location made getting around easy, with attractions, restaurants, and public transport only a short walk away. At Citadines, the room was spotless and spacious, with a comfortable bed, a clean modern bathroom, and a thoughtful setup that worked for both relaxing and working. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful from the moment I arrived. I stayed a few days and had one of my best hotel experiences in a long time. I’d gladly return and recommend it.

We booked an apartment, so our room had a kitchen and plenty of space, and the bathroom was roomy too. The hotel is right in central Frankfurt, next to a mall and close to Frankfurt Old Town and its December Christmas Market. If you’re driving, reserve parking well ahead. It costs around 19 euros a night, and you can take the elevator from the basement parking area to reception and then to your room with your luggage. Everything is self-service, with no porter. Breakfast is 19 euros per person, after registering at the restaurant. Mineral water, coffee, and tea are free, and the Wi-Fi was very fast. Extra cleaning outside the regular room service schedule costs more. I’d give the hotel 9.5 out of 10.

I’ve been staying at this hotel since 2015 and highly recommend it. It’s one of Frankfurt’s most beautiful and luxurious hotels, opposite the Skyplaza mall and close to everything. The lobby is lovely, and all the drinks are complimentary. Margareta at reception always greets us with a smile and helps with whatever we need. We’re lucky to have her welcome us. Thank you to everyone at this beautiful hotel, which I truly love.

The free coffee was nice, and the beds were comfortable, but for the price the rest was a joke. In January, with -2 C outside, the room was cold because the air conditioning barely heated it. The sofa pull-out mattress wasn’t made up and had old, dirty bedding. Shower water was cold or lukewarm, though the tap ran hot. There was no hairdryer in the room; reception eventually brought one, but it was so old it nearly burned my hair. The so-called gym was just a tiny corner with old, dusty equipment. That’s not a German standard.

We had a great three-night stay with our family of four. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and up to date, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful at check-in. The location was perfect, right across from Skyline Mall and the REWE grocery store for essentials. A light rail stop nearby goes straight to the Christmas Market, and there are several good restaurants close by. We’d definitely come back for a longer visit.
