The Doorman Goethe

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very nice, but check-in can be difficult. We stayed twice this year. On the first visit, the door and key code arrived by email the day before, so getting in was easy. The second time, I emailed twice the day before and completed their online arrival form, but heard nothing back. We called from Frankfurt airport to get the code, and it took several calls before we finally got the information we needed. There was no apology, and one of the staff members we spoke to was quite abrupt. It’s a shame, because it’s a great place to stay.

The apartment was lovely and right in the centre. We had everything we needed, including towels, a dishwasher, and a great oven. There were two TVs, and the view from both the living room and bedroom was beautiful ✨ Booking and check-in were easy, and reception was just a minute from the car park. Thanks, see you again!

For the price, this was a great find in Frankfurt. The apartment had a full kitchen with a microwave, electric stove, and dishwasher, plus a cosy living area and temperature controls. There’s also a washer and dryer in the basement. The metro entrance is right beside the hotel, and the Christmas market is nearby. A mall with Rewe and Go Asian supermarket is about a five-minute walk away. There are two entrances depending on your apartment number, linked by a cosy outdoor garden on Level 2. The doorman emails your number in advance. For check-in, go to Hirschgraben 6 whatever your apartment number, to pick up the key fob.

Really good hotel for the price. I got a bit confused by the keyless entry, but they still let me in after midnight. The key handover could maybe be handled better, though they still deserve five stars.
