Hotel Garni Traube

There's free parking, and I was given a double room for single use. The rooms are large and reasonably equipped, though the bathroom was tiny and had a strange smell. The furniture is dated, and the hotel looked better in the photos than it did in person. It's an old house that's been refurbished, and check-in is self-service after 18:00.

The restaurant was a real highlight for me. The local dishes were flavorful and made with fresh ingredients, and the service during meals was attentive. The cozy atmosphere helped me relax, and both the room and shared spaces were impeccably clean and well kept. I stayed at Traube Ailingen for four nights. From check-in, the staff were welcoming, genuinely friendly, and ready to help with any questions or requests. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel at home. I also found the location convenient. It was a memorable stay, and I'd recommend Traube Ailingen to anyone looking for a lovely hotel experience in the area.

On my third day in Friedrichshafen for work, I finally got to eat here after the restaurant was closed on the first day and had a company outing the next. The wait was worth it. I ordered Grillplatte, pancakes with marmalade, and a macchiato, and everything was perfect. The staff were really friendly too. I'll come back if I'm in Friedrichshafen again.

The Bosnian-Croatian dishes are something special and were cooked really well. They also have German and other familiar dishes. Service was quick, personal, and very nice. Definitely worth going.
