Ibis Styles Friedrichshafen

The beds were very comfortable, and we slept peacefully. It's a comfortable place to stay, just a few minutes from downtown Friedrichshafen. I loved the lounge by reception. Breakfast is available for 17€ per person, but we didn't have it. I missed having coffee and tea in the room, since that's what we're used to in accommodations like this, but that didn't matter. Clear 5/5 from me.

The room was spacious, clean, and felt new, and the area was very quiet without being completely isolated. Rewe is about a kilometer away, and Kaufland is reachable by car. The one thing missing was a kettle, coffee, tea, and cups for drinking.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of good-quality choices, and we could sit on the sunny terrace while the kids played at the nearby playground. The team even set up a separate set of sheets on the couch for our child, which made him so happy. Everyone was clearly keen to make guests feel looked after. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, parking was easy, and the building is lovely in a peaceful part of Friedrichshafen. We had a great stay.

It's a quiet place with friendly staff, and the bus stop just opposite makes it easy to get into town. I was upgraded to a family room, which had a huge bathroom and shower. The room itself was good, though pretty standard for an Ibis Styles, and breakfast covered the basics. The toilet wasn't clean when I arrived, and housekeeping only comes on request. There are no shops and only a few restaurants nearby, and the hotel is outside the center in a developing neighborhood on a former army site north of Friedrichshafen. It makes sense if you need the science campus, but otherwise the location isn't ideal. There's no fitness room, and it can feel expensive for what you get.
