Villa Natali

I’ve visited many countries, but I’ve never had service this poor. The staff were rude and didn’t really listen to what I needed. The manager was especially mean, arrogant, and unprofessional.

The room itself was polished and quite nice, with a mini fridge/freezer and a couple of bottles of water. But the air conditioning didn’t work, and the shower only trickled, even though the water was warm enough. The supermarket is about a five-minute walk away. Like some others, I was told by the manager to cancel my online booking and pay more in cash for a larger room so there’d be space for the “free” baby cot, despite there being plenty of room in the one I’d booked.

Breakfast was really good, and the hotel is only a short walk from the city center. We booked the cheapest room, which was in the basement, as described below. Parking is limited, and costs 15 euros.

I travel a lot and have stayed in plenty of hotels, but the service here was so rude. They called the police over a 35-minute delay. If you want a friendly hotel with good service, don't choose this place.
