Hotel Ruchti has a fresh, inviting feel, with thoughtful modern updates throughout and a charming family-run character. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, with a cozy bed, good Wi-Fi, a small fridge and a modern bathroom. We liked the traditional key entry too. During the off-season we were generously upgraded to a room with a lovely balcony overlooking the park in front of the hotel. The elevator was being repaired, but that wasn’t an issue for us. It’s a pleasant short walk into the heart of Füssen, where there are restaurants, churches and shops, although the hotel isn’t right in the centre. Parking was easy, and check-in was welcoming and smooth. There’s also a stylish, comfortable lounge with pool tables, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly. We were very pleased with our one-night stay and would gladly recommend Hotel Ruchti to anyone visiting Füssen.

The location on the edge of town is handy for nature trails and the scenic Lechfall, and the train station is an easy 16-minute walk away. The hotel had a cozy, rustic feel, and the service was friendly. Our room was very clean and recently renovated, with a balcony facing the valley and mountains that we loved. Breakfast was worth getting, with a nice spread.

We first stayed here 18 years ago with the Bayern travel group, and returned with the same group in September 2025. The hotel was clean and comfortable back then, and our balcony room looked out over the ski jump. The renovated rooms on this visit impressed me: they were lovely and spacious, with everything we needed, including a mini fridge. Breakfast was easily the best of our trip. This family-owned hotel is a gem, tucked into a quiet cul-de-sac just a short walk from adorable downtown Fussen. We’ll be back.

The staff were amazing, and the cleaning was very good. We had a spacious room with a nice balcony in a quiet area that’s perfect for a walk. Breakfast was excellent and had lots of options, and the spa was really nice.

For a three-star hotel in Europe, I really didn’t expect the included breakfast to be this good. The staff everywhere, from reception to the restaurant, were very friendly. The room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed, and the facilities were fantastic. The entertainment room was a lot of fun. Honestly, this is one of the best three-star hotels I’ve stayed in.
