The main problem during my stay was that there was no heating anywhere in the building. The rooms, shared spaces, corridors and toilets were all cold. That could make things quite uncomfortable in colder months. Apart from that, the location was convenient, but the lack of warmth was the biggest downside.

The rooms are decent for what they cost. The bathrooms, though, are like something at a festival. I’ve never been there without a piss smell, and the toilets are often dirty. A photo would be too disgusting.

The room was tidy, and check-in and checkout were straightforward. It’s right in the centre, which is great if you’re travelling alone for a couple of nights. I’d pay extra for a room with its own shower, it’s much more comfortable. One small thing: a power outlet beside the first bed in the double rooms would be useful. Having to go up the stairs to charge your phone isn’t ideal.

The double room I booked came with a shower. It was compact but comfortable enough, and the beds were nice. You can’t adjust the temperature, which bothered me when I first tried to sleep, though I was fine for the rest of the night. The shared bathrooms were okay. The real issue was the club and bar in the same complex. I was there Saturday evening through Thursday morning, and I think Tuesday was the only night without music. It went on very late. You could feel the bass, though the noise itself wasn’t as bad.
