campus apartments

I spent four months at Campus Apartments. The location is a big plus, close to both the railway station and Göttingen University, and it felt secure. Service was excellent, with towels and other things changed twice a week. The rooms are smaller than the photos suggest, though they’re okay. In my room, the bath water clogged and needed cleaning every ten days. Maybe that was specific to my room. I’d give it five stars if the price weren’t so high for no clear reason, perhaps the service explains it. If an extra 100 euros isn’t a big deal for you, it could still work.

I chose this place because I usually like having a kitchen on work trips, but my stay had a few problems. The owners weren’t available at all, and none of my emails got a reply. The place was fairly clean, but there was a lot of dust up high. I stayed six days and the cleaners never came, although cleaning every three days was advertised. There weren’t any kitchen cleaning supplies either. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The service and attention were excellent, and the rooms felt really cozy.

A tidy, well-organized apartment that’s been kept in good shape.
