We were a large group of Germans and visitors from abroad, and the restaurant made room for us and treated us politely. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks. I highly recommend stopping here.

We had a fabulous breakfast and I slept wonderfully after a soak in the bathtub. The staff were amazing, and we enjoyed a beer in the dining area. When we arrived, the owner welcomed us and gave us the best room, on the third floor overlooking the water. Some people said the stairs were a problem, but there is an elevator, you just have to ask. I recommend this place and hope to return someday.

The river and weir views from the location are superb, and I especially recommend the food and drinks, including the Schnapps made on site. The staff were wonderful. One young woman even translated the menu for us by hand on paper. This is an exceptional hotel, one of the best I've stayed in.

There's a broad choice of drinks, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, and the service is friendly and professional. The food is hearty for a fairly low price, with vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. It's seasonal and locally produced. Recommended, and the surprise menu is worth trying.

Really delicious food, and I like the local, sustainable, farm-to-table idea as much as the cuisine and its flavors. They also have Germany's easternmost brewery, and the beer is super tasty. Recommended!
