I’d take these apartments over a hotel room, which can all feel a bit alike. We had the top-floor “penthouse,” a whole apartment with loads of space, a balcony with plenty of seating, and a private elevator that you access with a key. The shower was a decent size, and having a cooking plate and fridge meant you could really live there. It’s an amazing bargain in a great spot, about five minutes from Central station and a 10-15 minute walk to the center.

We had the rooftop penthouse, with lots of room for two adults and two teenagers. The apartment itself was nice. The check-in was the one downside: the code was incorrect, and the instructions weren’t clear.

The host was friendly and quick to respond, and check-in was easy. Inside, the apartment was spotless and modern, just as described, with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and reliable, fast Wi-Fi. The location was handy for what I needed while staying quiet at night. I really loved the place and would book again.

We found the apartment far too cramped for two people. Getting from one side of the bed to the other meant constant manoeuvring, and really it seems suitable for one person at most. The bathroom has a wall but doesn’t reach the ceiling, so it isn’t properly separated from the room. There was no dishwasher, microwave, or other oven, despite what the listing suggested. The street wasn’t especially busy, yet rowdy people passing by woke us every night or early morning. The location was good, but the apartment didn’t match its description.
