B&B Hotel Hamburg-Nord

The room is extremely small, with little storage and no refrigerator, though the bathroom is a decent size. Still, for Hamburg prices I thought this was great value: it's clean and comfortable, well connected to the city, and affordable. The beds are big enough and very comfortable, the soundproofing was decent, and cleaning happened every day. Self check-in and code access to the room were great, and there's a fairly large hotel parking lot. The location is a real plus. The metro station is a three-minute walk, with a direct ride of about 20 minutes to the center. Aldi is around five minutes away, and getting to the airport metro station takes about 20 minutes with one change. There's also a good kebab place near the station. The neighborhood felt safe both day and night.

The hotel sits beside a very busy boulevard, and the noise insulation needs work. Police sirens and car horns woke me up. Most of the stay was good apart from that.

We got there quite late, and the staff were still very kind and helpful. Our family room was far better than expected, with bunk beds and a BIG double bed. We came in an electric car, and parking and charging were easy, with large spaces for each car. It was easy to find too. We'll definitely book again.

We chose this hotel for a stay connected with travel from Hamburg Airport. Getting there by public transport was easy, and it looks like there is plenty of car parking, though we didn't arrive by car. Booking and both check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable, but there wasn't enough space to open a suitcase unless I put it on the bed. Breakfast was okay, though I thought it cost a little much for what it offered.
