8/10
The breakfast was really good, and I had the best croissant ever. The staff were very friendly and cooperative. Hotel Baurs Park is in what I think is Hamburg’s best location, and although the rooms are small, they’re very clean and nice. The downsides are that there’s no fitness centre and staff leave in the evening. Apart from that, everything was very good.

The walls are too thin. You can hear your neighbour every time they move.

The internet connection was poor and could be improved. Otherwise, the room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the staff pleasant. Breakfast was good and parking was good too.

Take a heavenly walk just behind the hotel. Go up through Baurs Park and spend some time on the path near River Elbe. The staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Hamburg is lovely from this part of town, and the hotel was comfortable and nice.
