We had a good breakfast in a pleasant setting, and the host was kind and helpful. We stayed one night with our two little kids in this B&B, which sits in a pretty, peaceful neighborhood about a half-hour drive from central Hamburg. Having a washer and dryer was handy with children, and they enjoyed the foosball and pool tables in the basement hobby room.

We’ve been here twice already, and it’s such a find in a big city. The house is kept in great shape, the rooms are in top condition, and the price is excellent for what you get. It’s about 10 minutes from the bus stop, with a taxi stand right outside. Breakfast is generous and feels personal. The hostess makes everyone feel welcome, is genuinely warm, and even invites guests to join in house activities like the fire pit. I highly recommend the B&B and its hostess.

The room had everything we needed, and the separate bathroom was huge, with both a shower and bathtub plus a sauna. It was all impeccably clean, including the shower, with no mold or limescale. The place is in a great location, and we could sleep with the windows open. We also got useful directions for taking the train to see The Lion King. Communication before arrival was excellent, the welcome was very friendly, and leaving was just as smooth, with a warm goodbye. We’d happily come back.
