Garni Hotel Lore

The room had a strong smell of smoke, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking, along with a strange cleaning product odor. It wasn’t very clean either. At first the hotel was locked, and someone only came to reception after I called the owner several times. I also wasn’t given a proper bill. After asking repeatedly, all I got was the total room charge written on a Post-it note. Glad I only booked one night. A strange hotel in a strange area.

For an overnight stay it was adequate, and the price was quite reasonable. Check-in went smoothly, the room was clean, and the bed linen was fresh. There wasn’t any parking, though, and breakfast wasn’t included because it’s currently being renovated.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the internet was fast and worked really well. It was quiet in the mornings and late afternoons. There was some mold by the bathroom window, unfortunately. The hotel is being renovated at the moment, and breakfast wasn’t included. It’s okay overall.

The price was okay, but I’d only stay here again if there were no other places nearby. The rooms are large and clean, though they don’t seem set up for day guests and aren’t very comfortable. Breakfast was very poor.
