Hotel Hagemann

The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was decent, and the restaurant was great. Our waiter was very nice. Parking cost extra, more than 7 euros for one night, which I hadn’t expected. At check-in, the receptionist seemed annoyed and bored, and was anything but service-minded.

The hotel is pretty average, not that bad. But if you want to go out and eat nearby, you won’t see German folks around, and this area feels super unsafe.

The room was stuffy with no ventilation, and the carpet had stains. There were loads of spiders, the Wi-Fi was slow, and you could hear people in the corridor because the room wasn't soundproof. The shower door leaked, the neighborhood was loud, and breakfast was left warm and sweaty. Awful place, I wouldn't recommend it.

Markets, bus stops, and a few restaurants are nearby, which was handy. The room itself was tiny: the bed was only about a meter from both the entrance and the bathroom. The furniture was old, and the front door still used a traditional metal key. The bathroom had floor-to-ceiling windows with shades for privacy. Breakfast and service were poor.
