The building's museum-like feel is charming, and the neighborhood seemed very safe. It's also fairly close to the city center. The rooms cover the basics, though there are only two shared toilets in the hotel. Our sheets had hairs on them the first night, and the pillows were really uncomfortable. The old wooden floors creak and make a lot of noise.

Amazing, though there's no toilet in the room. Don't be shy about using the loo.

Hamburg is easy to explore on foot from here. The building and rooms are beautiful, the atmosphere is good, and the service was great. A wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic one-night stay. The garden at the back was really nice, and the location worked well for us. Since nobody had booked our room for the following day, they let us check out later.

I had a great stay, especially for such fair pricing. The rooms, kitchen, and porch are absolutely gorgeous, and monika was incredibly hospitable.
