Leonardo Hotel Hamburg Altona

I slept so well here. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the crisp linens helped too. You can air out the room before bed, and even with the dirty weather, the carpets were clean. The lobby felt cozy, and breakfast was good in a pleasant atmosphere. I would have liked pancakes or sweet buns, though perhaps those just aren’t traditional German breakfast options :)

It was a bonus that the hotel connects to the apartment block where my family were staying. I also enjoyed the sauna, and the self-serve laundry came in handy. The bed was extremely comfortable, the facilities were good, and the staff were friendly. A lovely hotel.

The staff at reception were polite and very helpful, and we felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay. The hotel is bright and modern, with a clean, convenient gym and a great-tasting breakfast with plenty of choice, like the five-star hotels we’re used to in Israel. Buses close by go to the center and the harbour. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the warm hospitality.

The room was a little smaller than I expected, but I still had a good stay. I liked the motion-activated lighting in the hallways, and there were nice touches in the room and around the hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were attentive and friendly. See attached video.
