It’s a clean, good-value hotel for a night in Hamburg, with a great spot just a few minutes from the main train station. The staff were friendly, and booking was straightforward. It isn’t luxurious, but it was exactly as promised. I’d recommend it if you want an affordable, central place to stay.
I can’t recommend this hotel. The room was incredibly dirty, and there were stains showing through the mattress around hip level. I don’t even want to know what they were. The soap and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom were empty, which made the stay unpleasant. The staff were friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the state of the hotel. I’d avoid it.
The staff were friendly and the location worked well for me, but I wouldn't choose this place for a business trip. I stayed one night for a conference in Hamburg. It occupies the first and second floors of a commercial building and has the feel of an old Korean inn. Reception isn't staffed all the time, so check-in or checkout may take a while. The rooms feel dated, with some remodeling apparently underway or still needed. I didn't see a separate restaurant, and there was no parking. It could suit a budget backpacking trip.
Wouldn't recommend it. The room didn't seem to have been cleaned, the bed wasn't freshly made, and the shower had mold.
