During my May 2025 stay, the host made me feel like part of the family. Her restaurant suggestions really added to my time in Germany. Hotel am Schlossplatz is right in the heart of Hechingen, with everything within easy walking distance, and its recent renovation gives the place a sleek, modern look while keeping it comfortable and charming. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The staff went beyond what I expected. When I needed a taxi to get to the company, one of them offered to drive me there. They even found me an umbrella when rain caught me unprepared. My room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with coffee and breakfast brought to me. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels while travelling, but I’ve never had an experience like this.

The standout for me was the service. The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever met and went out of their way to meet our needs, leaving a real impression. The rooms were clean and modern, the location was excellent, and it was great value for money. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Hechingen.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. The owner was welcoming and respectful, and gave me an extra discount.

The room was tiny, with a bathroom so small it was unusable, and the whole hotel smelled of smoke. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived during the posted check-in hours. Then I woke to a full-on construction event in the hallway outside my room, with metalworking going on louder than an engine. The worst place I’ve stayed. Avoid!
