The service was mixed, with a nice young blonde woman and another woman with violet hair who seemed quite annoyed. The food, though, was a real letdown. My companion’s Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad cost 20 euros, and the salad was completely unsalted while the schnitzel was small and limp. I had the roast pork “Alter Kohlhof,” promoted as a house specialty, for 16 euros. It was tough and stringy, the red cabbage had no taste, and the bread casserole needed a lot of mediocre gravy to be edible. Not acceptable for the price. First and last visit, and probably not again.
