We were happy with the price, and the rooms were clean with friendly staff. The hotel is a little far from the city centre, but we were up for a walk, so that worked out fine. I was worried about parking our van since spaces can't be reserved, but they suggested we park in front of the hotel for free, which was a pleasant surprise. Asking to check in an hour and a half early came with a charge. I understand the policy, but that was the first time I'd encountered it.

The bathroom stood out most, with a warm, spacious shower. The beds were comfortable, the location was fine, and everything looked well maintained, with no dirt, mould, or stains. I liked the stylish décor and artwork, too. We stopped here for a rest during a three-day hike with a friend. The lobby had a relaxing feel, with soft jazz lo-fi music, and the building's interior was sleek. Breakfast was nicely laid out, and the little touches, from the good kettle and tea and coffee to the neatly folded toilet paper, made a difference. The organization was good and service was fine, though a bit more warmth and friendliness would have earned five stars. Better soap would help, too. Still, I was very satisfied.

I spent three nights here. The bed and shower were great, the price was good, and the staff were friendly. I skipped breakfast and other hotel food since I went to the station each day, about 600m away, for a bus downtown and a pastry and coffee. There are also three decent places right by the hotel for lunch or dinner.

The people here are down to earth and friendly, which really makes a difference. The rooms were clean and comfortable for a fair price. It's close to the train station, with the old town a short bus or tram ride away, or about a 30-minute walk. The one thing to improve is parking. Availability should be communicated on the website and at booking. Even if it is first come, first served, guests shouldn't have to leave it to chance.
