Witte Kliff Helgoland

We booked four of the six apartments in the Witte Kiff building for the whole family, and everyone was happy with the furnishings and cleanliness. Karin, the landlady, lives there and was friendly, helpful, and always available. Communication with her was easy too. The building is soundproof, though that depends on its construction and the guests staying there, so nobody can really control it. We had a wonderful time and would happily book again. Thank you!

We already have our next Heligoland trip in the works, and we'll be booking at Witte Kliff again. This was our second visit to the island and our second stay here. The apartments are top-notch, really well equipped, and the North Sea view is stunning. We highly recommend Witte Kliff. 👍👍👍

We negotiated a 50% refund with the landlord after our February 2024 stay at the "von Richthofen" apartment, and it was explicitly agreed. But the amount paid back was much lower after what seemed like mathematical tricks, with the full cleaning charge still billed. We couldn't get anywhere with the landlord after that, so we can't recommend the apartment or the landlord. The place looked very appealing at first. That night, though, we found bed bugs in both the sofa bed and bunk bed. The caretaker helped us right away and found us an alternative without bed bugs, but it was only one room instead of two. The next morning we could use the washing machine to clean our clothes. That's why we gave it two stars.

The only real drawback for our group of four adults at the Saint Exupéry apartment was the sofa bed, which was too narrow for two. The place had just been renovated and was very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a great location overlooking the dunes.
