We spent our honeymoon in this little paradise and were thrilled with it. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the beautiful setting has a swimming pond, private sauna, and romantic log cabin. It’s not exactly cheap, but it was worth the money.

It’s a beautiful place, but overpriced. Wood, towels, and other things cost extra, and the furnishings are mediocre. The listing said dogs were allowed from October to March, so we didn’t separately register our dog. We then got a negative review saying, “Honesty is important.” After paying over €600 for three nights and leaving the place spotless, I don’t think that’s any way to treat guests. Outrageous.

Hohenstein House has a big, lovely garden behind it with a swimming lake. The owners made us feel welcome and well looked after. The guesthouse is beautifully furnished and has plenty of space. Absolutely stunning, and highly recommended :)!

We had a wonderful week in the log cabin “Wooden Lounge.” It’s a great spot for a peaceful getaway, with incredibly friendly hosts who give you space. The cabin and its owners are easy to recommend. Thanks again for such a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed how peaceful our short trip was, and the swimming pond was the highlight. You can tell a lot of care went into it, and we had it all to ourselves the whole time. It was a dream stay. Thanks for everything, and greetings from Salzkotten 😁
