10/10
The view over the stables and all that greenery was magnificent. It’s also a great spot for a work trip, with room to rest and get on with your job. Our rooms were cosy and spacious, with two bedrooms, a bathroom with both a bath and shower (love that), and a walk-in wardrobe. The beds were comfortable, there were lots of windows, and the food was delicious. Service was excellent!

The rooms were clean, but breakfast was awful. Because of covid we had to order ahead, and that didn’t work well at all. We asked for toast and didn’t get any; when we pointed that out, they brought us a stale piece of bread instead. The butter portion was tiny, and our coffee sugar was missing. The first waitress didn’t understand “sugar,” said yes, then went to get another waitress. That one simply took sugar from the next table, as if we should all share the virus. Ridiculous. The woman at check-in was nice, but the breakfast staff were questionable. It’s hard to see how a hotel can run when they don’t understand basic English.

We found the hotel easily, and parking in the garage and Wi-Fi were both free. The rooms were clean and quiet, though the bath was a bit too small. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly with lovely service and a familiar feel. It’s in a nice spot near Hof.

The rooms were really spacious and clean, the service was friendly, and breakfast was delicious. I recommend it.

A good choice in Hof, particularly if you’re visiting the plants in the industrial park.
