We needed somewhere to stay in Holtland for our wedding, and this turned out to be just right. Mr. and Mrs. Engelmann welcomed us so warmly, and the downstairs apartment had lots of room to put our wedding things. It was also spotless and neat. I left my white dress hanging in the hallway, and even its train stayed completely clean. Such a lovely place, highly recommend it!

You feel at home here straight away, and there's loads of room in the lovely holiday apartment. The owners are exceptionally friendly too. I'd happily come back.

The owner was so nice and very helpful. Everything we needed was in the bright, clean, well-kept apartments. It's only a few metres to the bakery, shops, and places to eat. The location is central but still really quiet. We'll book here again on our next holiday.

The owners were a big part of what made the week great, always helpful, really nice, and friendly. The apartment itself had everything we needed, and it was a convenient base for all sorts of activities. We were five and had plenty of bikes available. If you need another one, you can borrow one from the neighbors without any fuss. There's also a supermarket just around the corner with everything you need, at no higher prices than the usual discount stores. Even on rainy days, there are lots of things to do, so being this close to the coast doesn't feel like paying double for nothing. Emden, Leer, and Aurich are all worth visiting, and Oldenburg too if you don't mind a longer drive. And if tides, germs, or crowded beaches aren't your thing, Timmeler Meer has a family-friendly feel and still feels like a proper beach. Thanks for a great week!
