We got good rates for the swimming pool and saunas at the nearby partner hotel. Breakfast was tasty and offered a wide choice. Our room looked out toward the mountains and the large, picturesque garden. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with generous shared spaces for reading or relaxing.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with something for everyone. You could also order an omelet or scrambled eggs made to order. The hotel is close to the spa park and the center of Oberstdorf. This was our second visit, and we'd definitely stay again. The villa is beautiful, and its lounge is a lovely spot to relax or play games. Our spacious room had comfortable beds, and the whole hotel was spotless. The rooms each have their own decor and charm. The management is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Special thanks to the warm and welcoming owner.

The team, led by Susanne Sandrock, is first class, friendly, and extremely pleasant. For us, the people are what matter most. We've already booked two more holidays at the Geldernhaus. We love its fantastic Oberstdorf location, central but quiet, and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. To our taste, this is a top-notch hotel with over 100 years of history.

We especially enjoy chatting with our hostess, Mrs. Sandrock, and are grateful for her restaurant and hiking trail tips. This is our fifth stay at Geldernhaus, and the old villa's charm, lovely rooms, and fantastic breakfast keep delighting us. Breakfast runs until 11:00 am 👍. Many thanks!
