There are good restaurants and breakfast spots nearby, and getting to the city center or the University is easy. The hotel itself is in a pleasant, quiet part of Kassel.

The view from the room was stunning, and the room itself felt spacious and modern. One of the best hotels I've stayed at, and a lovely place for a relaxing getaway.

The service was great, especially the housekeeper, who was super friendly and went out of his way to get me an ironing machine. Reception hours are pretty short, though. I barely slept because something outside my window kept peeping all night, and the bed was very hard with a blanket that was too thin.

The view is amazing, and it's only about a 200 meter walk to the tram. It's good value, though the rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny, lol. I hadn't booked breakfast, so I can't say anything about that service. There was heating but no air conditioning, which was really bad in mid August. I'd recommend it if you plan to spend most of your day out.
