The service is why I’m writing this. The man at the service desk helped us several times and was really good. The rooms looked a little old and basic, but the hotel offers good value for the price. It’s close to the msc harbor, about 10 minutes by taxi.

The staff were friendly, but this experience ruined my day. The hotel already had my email from a reservation made more than two weeks earlier, yet only emailed me about arriving after 19:00 a few hours before I was due to arrive. Reception closes at 19:00, so make sure they have your phone number for getting in afterward. At the entrance, the note explaining how to call staff was only in German and mentioned an extra fee of €35 or €50. Late check-in can cost up to €50, with no early warning.

The room was simple but had plenty of space, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a mini fridge at no extra charge when we needed to keep medication and baby food cold. Breakfast was lovely too, and attentive staff brought the kids colouring materials to keep them occupied. I’d give the place five stars based on the people there.

My non-smoking DR was quiet and clean, and there was plenty to choose from at the breakfast buffet, including a wide range of food and drinks. The staff were courteous, friendly and accommodating. It was a very good stay.

The room is minimalistic, but the reception staff were really friendly and professional. It’s nice to know you’ll get that sort of service. The location is decent, and there’s a great ice cream place across the street :)
